Minimum

When you are planning your production it can be good to know the minimum. With us there is no formal minimum, we can produce less than minimum. We do however have minimum recommendations, below this recommendation the price per item will increase significant. Also note that for preparing originals etc. we always charge a fee if quantity is less.  Some start up costs are the same regardless if you want 20 pcs or 20.000 of a design.

Below check both minimum based on fabric in stock AND minimum based on manufacturing methods. The highest minimum becomes your recommended minimum.

Recommended minimums:

Based on fabric in stock or not.

• When fabric is in stock or any of our standard fabrics

  • no minimum

• When fabric is not in stock and has to be manufactured

  • Single colour. Typically 300 to 500 meters.

  • Stripes. 500 meters.

  • All-over-print, between 500 and 2000 meters depending on design etc.

• When fabric must be purchased from whole sale.

  • No minimum but SIGNIFICANT more expensive. And no guaranties can be made for that the same fabric can be purchased or made ever again. Quality is also not guaranteed as we buy "as is" in such a case.

Based on manufacturing

• Stitching

  • 20 pieces per design and 12 pcs per size and design

• Printing

  • 50 pieces when single colour

  • 120 pieces when multi colour, but not "one million".

  • 1,000 pieces when using "one million" colours.

  • For highest quality always order minimum 1,000 pcs

• Embroidery

  • 20 pieces when using machine embroidery

  • 100 pieces when using digital embroidery

How to get out most of it:

• If we have to produce the fabric. Use it for more than one design.  You can also stock it with us and use it from time to time for new orders.

• Printing etc. Use the same printing design for more than one Garment.
